The meeting was held at Darrington Coffee Co. and Martha Rasmussen opened the meeting.
Review and Approval of the Treasurer’s Report: Carson submitted the treasurer’s report showing a balance of $27,448.65 for all accounts. Roselie moved to “approve the treasurer’s report as submitted”. Savannah seconded and the motion carried.
Approval of Last Meeting’s Minutes: Carson moved to “approve the minutes of the October 17, 2022 Darrington Strong Board meeting”; Roselie seconded and the motion carried.
Website Updates: Roselie reported that the Darrington Strong website has been launched.
Unfinished Business:
Darrington Strong Division Agreement: Carson moved to “adopt the Darrington Strong division agreement for Friends for Public Use”; Savannah seconded and the motion carried.
Elections: Roselie announced the new officers: Marla (president), Roselie (vice president), Carson (treasurer), Rick (recording secretary). Savannah, Martha, and Dawn will serve as board members.
New Business:
DS debit cards: Roselie requested a debit card for the Darrington Strong account. Savannah moved “for Darrington Strong to provide debit cards as needed”; Rick seconded and the motion carried.
New DS President: Martha addressed the issue of the transfer of power to Marla.
Snow Plowing: Savannah began a discussion on Darrington residents in need of snow plowing as outlined in her previous e-mail, and detective Wilson’s participation in the effort.
Lookout Awards: Carson began a discussion about the North Mountain Lookout Awards and asked that we start thinking about potential award recipients.
Darrington Strong Updates:
Darrington Strong Online Store: Roselie introduced a discussion about the online store. A vote was taken via e-mail on December 10, 2022. Roselie moved that “we hire Casper set up an online store using Woo-commerce and Printful, at a cost of $225.00”; Savannah seconded and the motion carried.
