Town Beautification
Trees and flowers give a community life and they create a desire to be out in public spaces where you can get to know your neighbors or take a rest in the shade. Going out into our public spaces brings us together as a community.
We plant flowers and trees because we’re proud of Darrington and we want others to feel proud of their community as well.
When someone comes into town we want the first impression to be that this is a beautiful place where people care. We want visitors to feel that this is a special place, and we want those who live here to feel proud, and to feel uplifted when they return home.
One of our goals is to create a flowering Dogwood grove at Dot park as you drive into town. We have about half of this work completed.
